The film was first in development in August 2020 when Deadline revealed that Ron Yuan, who recently appeared in Disney’s Mulanwould conduct.

As part of its October 2022 lineup, Netflix announced that Blade of the 47 Ronin would be released on Netflix on October 25, 2022.

Couple of things to note here.
