WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The commerce ministers and trade representatives of the United States and China will meet in the United States next week, the spokesman for the Chinese embassy in Washington said on Thursday.
Liu Pengyu made the announcement during an online Chinese embassy briefing with journalists. He said China is open to communication with the United States at all levels, but only on the basis of mutual respect.
